Money in the official description is what you get for selling hay. The coin amounts, hay names, and diamond pickups below are from the 5 September 2026 recording of place 83238501165241. A patch can retune them.
Selling
In that run, common hay converted at the SELL HAY trough for 1 coin each. One trip sold 83 hay for 83 coins. The opening balance was 100 coins. The run did not show a different coin price for rarer hay, so this page does not claim a rare-hay coin multiplier.
The HUD at that moment read 83 / 60. The bag was over its listed limit, and the hay still sold in full. Overflow in that session was not wasted hay.
If your trough shows a different payout, use that number. The calculator assumes 1 coin per hay and will miscount anything else.
Named hay from the same run
Pulls triggered rarity labels rather than one generic resource:
| Hay | Rarity shown | Diamonds on pickup |
|---|---|---|
| Damp Hay | Common | Not shown |
| Ember Hay | Uncommon | +3 |
| Frostbitten Hay | Rare | +4 |
| Amber Hay | Rare | +8 |
| Crystal Hay | Epic | Not shown |
These are single pickups, not drop rates. Crystal Hay was labeled Epic, and the recording did not state a diamond amount for it.
Diamonds versus coins
Diamonds were a second currency. The recorded player started with 12. Sources on the HUD were rare-hay pickups and a repeating line, Playtime: +3 diamonds. Diamonds paid for the bomb stand. Coins did not.
Purple Void Hay and a reported 250-diamond payout come from a different, earlier video and do not match this table. Read them separately in Diamonds, bombs, and purple hay.
A practical sell loop
- Pull until the bag is full, or until overflow is what you meant to carry.
- Sell at the trough and check that coins moved by about the hay you sold, if the 1-coin rate is still on your screen.
- Spend on one workbench tier from Workbench upgrades.
- Return to the same unfinished search sector.
There is no confirmed code that adds coins. Do not pause the loop for a string from another needle game.
